The Municipality of Prizren and UNDP Kosovo have partnered to implement the "Promoting Tourism and Private Sector Development Project."
This initiative aims to boost tourism and economic growth in Prizren by promoting the city's rich cultural, historical, and natural attractions.
The project also focuses on revitalizing traditional businesses and enhancing their commercial identity using UNDP’s "In Motion" methodology.
During the project, 20 unique, traditional businesses located in the city center and historic areas of Prizren were selected for support.
These businesses range from gastronomy, hotels, and souvenir shops to florists, tailors, filigree artisans, hairdressers, and sweet shops.
Initially, they received training in business management, social media management, digitalizing services,
and financial management to enhance service quality.
Each business was then provided tailored support, including rebranding (name, logo, and signage), new equipment (computers, air conditioning, technology), and a fresh look to improve their operations and customer experience.
